Our Story

Red Hat Senior Concierge LLC was founded by President and Chief Concierge Officer, Dr. Jeronica Goodwin. After experiencing the loss of her grandmother Bessie in 2017 and participating with other family members in taking care of her basic needs, the idea of Red Hat Senior Concierge emerged. Her grandmother lived independently well past 90 years of age but needed assistance with running errands, grocery shopping, paying bills, rides to church and other activities of daily living. The idea further developed when another aging grandmother became in need of non-medical assistance, and the coordination of care was left to Jeronica's father, who lived eight hours away. Driven by a need to fill a critical gap, she decided to focus her business first on errands and concierge services with growth and expansion plans that will meet the needs of seniors during their entire aging process.

Assisting families, especially those living out of town, with errands and specialty services for their loved ones has become our mission and passion.

Why the Name?
Her sweet “grandma” Bessie lived a long and happy life of 96 years. Her favorite color was red, and she was known for wearing red hats.
